Product Description
MICC Thermocouple Simulators and RTD Simulators Mineral insulated RTD sensor with thermowell
Thermocouple
Thermocouple consists of two wires, each made of different metal, welded together at one end. When the welded point(measuring junction) is heated, a thermoelectromotive force is produced that is proportional of the temperature difference between the welded point and the other end (reference junction).
Therefore, by messuring this thermoelectromotive force either with the reference junction temperature kept constant or by using an automatic compensation curciut, the measuring junction temperature can be measured.
The thermoelectromotive force of a thermocouple is independent of the diameter or length of the wire used and depends only on the type of wire used.
In this series, the thermocouple is assembled with threaded or flanged protection Wells (with the exception of the TMP14 model), protecting the sensor from the environment and making easier the removal and replacement of the element.
These sets consist of head, nipple with or without head. The nipple allows a minimum distance of the head to the heat source/wall of the process or the isolation, and the union, besides making easier the removal of the sensor, it allows the head to rotate to align the output of the conduit facilitating the cable installation.
The thermocouple can be assembled with analog temperature transmitter, microprocessor with or without communication and protocols (for more information, please feel free to contact us).
