1. Introduction

RTD, also Resistance Temperature Detector,or resistive thermal devices, thermal resistance temperature measurement.

2. Principle
  1. Known from the measurement principle, The change of the measured temperature, is measured by the change of the resistance value directly.
  2. Therefore, the RTD lead wire and different lead wire, the change of the resistance value, will influent the temperature measurement.
  3. General purpose RTD senor can withstand normal temperature around 200ºC,is widely used in inudustry application.
3. Construction
Usually made up by the hot electrode, an insulating tube, protective sleeve and thermocouple head and other components.
